Late Night Concerts at Cafe Eleven

We'd been to Cafe Eleven for the best weekend brunch in St. Augustine. We'd been to Cafe Eleven for lunches and dinners. But we had never been to a concert until last month... little did we know that this local diner transforms like the speakeasy of concert venues! They host nationally acclaimed artists and indie shows right here in St. Augustine!! We went for String Fever. Our oldest son is a fan so we went on our first double date with one of our kids... I love how life is shaping up! Having grown up children is going to be fun! But I digress... String Fever … [Read more...]

Explore St. Augustine by Color: Green Day

This post is sponsored by Noble Juice. Thanks, Noble, for making it FUN to explore Florida AND to drink green! Like a Disney trip with a 1.5 year old, touring St. Augustine with little ones can feel more like work than vacation. New places, tours where they're supposed to be still and quiet and long days exploring from "son up to son down" leave cute kiddos cross. Don't waste your trip! Instead of dragging preschoolers through grown-up experiences, tailor your trip to the little ones you love. Start with something they know... colors... then pick through the suggestions … [Read more...]

St. Augustine Ballet: Peter Pan

Last year, the girls and I dressed up for an evening of ballet. I expected a nice community event... like an upgraded recital maybe. We were blown away by Peter Pan's professional  production!! The set was amazing, dancers were both from our community and professionals who came in just for this production and the choreography made us laugh, hold our breaths and cheer for our favorite dancers. This year, hubby & I decided it's the boys' turn to have a date night to the ballet and they are as excited to see Peter Pan & Wendy fly across the stage as they are … [Read more...]
