Sherry Stoppelbein has been whipping up creative combinations at Hot Shot Bakery and winning cooking contests for years. Now, she’s giving local chefs the opportunity to show off their best datil meatballs and win a getaway at the historic St. Francis Inn in St. Augustine. Winner also takes home a collection of Hot Shot Bakery’s datil sauces, jams, mustards and jellies. That’s one hot prize!

I’m just as excited to watch the 10th anniversary Chocolate Dipped Datil Eating Competition. Yes, you read that right! People will be stuffing dozens of datils down to win the coveted Datil eating championship- how many do you think you could eat?
