Villa Zorayda’s Candlelight Tour

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without our family Christmas Light Drive.  Long before we were regulars for St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights, we drove through neighborhoods choosing the best-lit houses and listening to our favorite carols with cups of hot cider in eight pairs of hands.

Of course we still drive through our favorite neighborhoods with the kids!  But now that my hubby & I have our finger on the pulse of St. Augustine, Villa Zorayda has become part of our annual “grown-up” celebration.  Villa Zorayda takes Christmas decorating to a whole new level centering around their towering Christmas tree during the peaceful Candlelit Tour of this family home-turned museum.

Read more details in my-> Villa Zorayda Candlelight Tour Review <-  Go ahead & click through, you’ll find dates, times and prices.

Today, however, I want you to enter our giveaway for a chance to win 2 free adult tickets!!  You’ll enjoy cookies, a breathtaking candlelit moment and lots of St. Augustine history on your nightime tour.  {details below, but you must redeem by 12/31/12 on a Candlelight Tour}

Merry Christmas from Simply St. Augustine’s family to yours!

    We love visiting St. Augustine at different times of the year. It is our vacation spot and our anniversary getaway weekend each year. However, we have not visited during the Night of Lights. We would love the chance to visit and win the candlelight tour.

    Believe it or not, despite going to Flagler and living here now for 4 years, I’ve never been to the museum! How sad for me… But sounds like a great date night with hubby! 😉

    We go every year for new years to the city to see the lights and enjoy the fireworks. It is such a romantic otherworldly feeling.

    When I saw an advertisement for Nights of Lights in St. Augustine, I knew it was something I want to experience this holiday season! I have seen pictures of the event in the past and would love to capture some of my own memories.
