A St. Augustine Staycation
Summertime… beach time, pool time, time to read and relax and… Mooom! I’m boooored!!!
You may only be a few days off your schedule before the kids are looking for something to do. After the pool, after the beach, you run out of ideas. You’re thinking, “When I was a kid, we’d be happy to be at the beach all summer with just a shovel and a fishin’ pole!” But they aren’t {you probably weren’t either}.

St. Augustine Beach *Splash Park* at the Pier - The Splash Park is a fun spot to cool off without worrying about rip currents or sharks {yes, even perfect St. Augustine has both!} If you can go on a Wednesday morning, all the better! You’ll catch the farmers market in full swing and can grab breakfast or lunch from a food truck or baker.
Music by the Sea & Concerts in the Plaza – St. Augustine boasts not one, but two free concerts weekly! Choose between St. Augustine Beach’s oceanside concert with local restaurants catering every Wednesday or Concerts in historic Plaza de la Constitucion downtown every Thursday – just steps from local restaurants.
