5/19 – Viva Espana!
Okay, this one isn’t free, or even cheap if you have a large family… but what a cool opportunity! Flamenco guitar, operatic singing, ballet- what a taste of the arts! $15 if you pre-buy your tickets. Starts at 7:30. Here’s more information.
5/19 – Lincolnville Spring Fair
Enjoy live music! Vendors will offer food, arts & crafts, and children will romp on the nearby playground. Intended to offer some old-fashioned family fun, the Lincolnville Spring Fair is held at the Willie Gallimore center.
5/19 Canciones
Memorial Presbyterian Church hosts The North Florida Women’s Chorale, a 30 voice choir, singing pieces with Latin & Spanish flavors. Noon.
Flamenco Dancing
I also heard there will be a Flamenco Dancer at the Columbia Restaurant (St. George & Hypolita) at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 7:00.
Parade!!!
From 4:00 – 7:00, the Monumental 1812 CONSTITUCIÓN Parade & Celebration will take over the Plaza de la Constitucion.
5/23 Music by the Sea
The St. Augustine Beach Civic Association sponsors the free concert series, Music by the Sea, every Wednesday night from now through September 26. Each week, a local restaurant offers a meal priced under $10 for an easy picnic under the stars. This week, enjoy Purple Olive’s wares with your classic Rock.
