Holly Jolly Trolley stops at Colonial Quarter!

One thing I love about St. Augustine is things are always the same and yet always changing.  For example, we ride around to look at Christmas lights every year during St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights, but there are new aspects to enjoy this season like a stop at Colonial Quarter when you ride the Holly Jolly Trolley!

Our family loves, loves, loves the Colonial Quarter.  The boys like the musket demonstration, the girls love playing in the hands-on archaeology section and everyone wants to climb the tower and look out over the city of St Augustine… even if they’re too short to see over the sides.  {pick me up, Mommy!}

This year, the Colonial Quarter is opening their doors to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  Explore the darkened, candlelit grounds, order a s’mores kit or a spiked apple cider or just stroll through for a free preview of the attraction- free to all who come!

warning: After strolling through Colonial Quarter, you’ll want to return during daytime hours for a full tour!

Can we go see the lights yet, Mom?

When you ride the Holly Jolly Trolley, you’ll have the option to get on & off the train at several stops- but you can only ride the nighttime loop once.  So disembark at Colonial Quarter & enjoy the sleepy version of the attraction, but then I suggest getting back on at the Colonial Quarter so you enjoy the full Nights of Lights Tour!

protip: Get back on the trolley wherever you disembarked so you don’t miss anything!

I mentioned a giveaway… Thank you to those who entered!  Using Random.org’s number generator, the winner is Karen of SavingTheFamilyMoney.com!  Congrats, Karen!  Enjoy your Christmas Staycation in St. Augustine!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
