IMAX Theater at World Golf Village

I just got home from The Avengers in 3D.  Ben (13) and I went on it’s first day out (bought our tickets ahead of time to make sure we’d get seats!).  I’ve posted about the St. Augustine IMAX theater before but Dude!  This is The Avengers!  It deserves a new post! 

As we walked toward the theater, a man driving a golf cart shuttle pulled up and offered us a ride to the theater!  What service!  Yes, please and thanks!

Not your average theater, the IMAX is the largest screen in the Southeast.  The building is attractive and clean inside and out, popcorn is fresh and employees are friendly.  That’s a change!

Ben hit the snack counter while I picked up our will-call tickets.  I’ve wanted to try Sno Caps movie candy since I was a kid & he bought a pack for us to share.  Having a teenager is awesome!

As we found our seats {try for the center of the back couple of rows} and played around with our 3D classes, I found the perfect way to enjoy popcorn.  Have you tried chocolate covered popcorn?  {If not, head over to Claude’s as soon as you get a chance!}  May I & recommend Sno Caps & popcorn?  It’s a tasty treat for movie nights!

IMAX plays educational movies as well as feature movies and also offers annual passes for locals.  Check it out!
