Everything Bagel

Sure, you could go to Chik-Fil-A in St Augustine or the St Augustine Panera– they’re both just around the corner.  And there’s a Taco Bell but I probably don’t have to convince you not to eat there.  😉  Next time you’re at the SR 312 & US1 intersection and you’re hungry for real food… stop by Everything Bagel.  I won’t have to convince you- their freshly baked breads & bagels and loaded sandwiches will make you a fan!

 St. Augustine’s NY Bagel Shop!

We were on our way home from Butler Beach.  I was going to stop in for bagel bites to hold us over.  These are cream cheese filled gems coated with cinnamon sugar & baked.  Kind of like a bagel version of a Cinnabon.  At 40 cents each, they’re a super affordable treat for a large family like ours!  There were 6 of us that day (Daddy & Ben were fishing in Texas) so I figured I’d grab a snack for $2.40 and be on our way!

Once I was in Everything Bagel, though, I changed my mind.  Everything looked and smelled and sounded so authentic {NY accents!}… I was transported to the bagel shop we visit when in NY to see my hubby’s family.

So I compromised.  I’d order a bit for now & then we’d finish lunch at home.  I ordered 2 Veggies all the Way on Whole Wheat Everything Bagels {$6.35} and a Veggies all the Way on freshly baked Sourdough.  They came cut in half with a pickle and a bag of chips.  Each of us ate half.  And each of us was full!  They loaded these sandwiches up with tomato, sprouts, fresh avocado, hummus and havarti cheese.

Everything Bagel has been family owned from the beginning and it’s still a great place to stop for breakfast anytime or lunch!  I can’t wait to take my hubby back to enjoy an “overstuffed” deli sandwich or his fave breakfast: eggs on an everything bagel with cream cheese & ketchup.  I know he’ll love it… and you will, too!
