St Augustine Foodie Adventures

When visitors ask what to do in St. Augustine, I often send them on a Foodie Tour. They want to get to know the city and where to eat- St. Augustine Historic Walking Tours does a great history-based foodie tour where you explore the town and munch along the way.

But for the locals who want some next level dining experiences… well, St. Augustine didn’t have a foodie experience to graduate to… until now.

St. Augustine Foodie Adventures plans monthly meetups at local restaurants to showcase independent restauranteurs and to give them a chance to wow foodies. The first month, Chris & I had a blast at Dos – where dessert & wine/beer pairings delighted a full house:

Since then we’ve enjoyed La Cocina International, Frida, Odd Birds, The Floridian & historic Cafe Alcazar. I love this chance to bring unique foodie experiences to local diners. We already have an amazing food scene in St. Augustine- but meeting the chefs and experiencing restaurants on this personal level is a unique opportunity. I love my job!!

Next up: June 29, 7:00 – 9:00, Simply St. Augustine’s Foodie Adventures heads across the bridge for a Hoptinger Foodie Adventure!! You’ll love how Chef Chason elevates Hoptinger’s comfort bar food menu to the next level!!!

    Hello Allie,
My husband and I sat by you and your husband at the wine and dessert tasting. You recommended the chef’s table at the Tasting Room. We had the pleasure of that experience last night It was fantastic! Great wines, food, atmosphere and staff. We can’t wait to do it again.
Thank you for the great recommendation.

There are certainly some great places to explore for Foodie Adventures in St. Augustine. On our latest trip to St. Augustine, my wife and I tried two places where we had not eaten before. We loved them both so I added Beaches at Vilano and Ice Plant Bar to the Dining section of my website. We highly recommend a visit to both!
