In two weeks, the city will come alive again with the 9th Annual Saint Augustine Film Festival. The Nights of Lights will still be lit welcoming all of the film goers and guests to town. This years lineup is one not to miss! It kicks off with a special preview on Thursday, January 17th for All Access and All Films Passholders.
The films are sure to keep you laughing with a dose of humor along with works by and about locals. If you are a local history buff, here is a chance to learn more about local celebrities.
Saint Augustine Locals Featured
Local Flagler College professor Tracy Halcomb will be featured for her work Cracking Aces. In Cracking Aces, moviegoers will see a new spin on professional poker with women breaking into this male dominated profession.
Local renowned sculptor Frosty Myers will be featured in the The Art and Times of Frosty Myers on Sunday, January 20 at 1:30 pm in the Lewis Auditorium. Those in attendance will have a chance to meet Frosty and his wife while learning more about where his art has taken him throughout the years.
Local racing celebrity Hurley Haywood will be featured in a documentary on Saturday, January 19th at 2:15 pm in the Lewis Auditorium. Following the showing of his documentary, Hurley will be on hand for a Q & A session about his 40 year racing career. Have your questions and cameras ready as two of his Porsche race cars will be on display on the piazza outside of the Lewis Auditorium. Who doesn’t want a picture by a fancy fast car?
Four different locations will be offered to view the films this year including the Corazon Cinema and Cafe, Lewis Auditorium, Gamache-Koger Theater (inside the Ringhaver Student Center at Flagler College), and the St. Augustine Distillery is reserved for one special screening.

Individual tickets and passes are available for advance purchase at www.StAugFilmFest.com. Click here to find out when and where the films will be featured. Pass holders and advanced purchase ticket holders will be admitted first before opening up ticket sales at the door to the general public. Individual film tickets are available for $10.00 each.
