Celebrating the Holidays in St. Augustine

Regatta of Lights

Holidays in St. Augustine

The Nation’s Oldest City knows how to celebrate the Holidays in St. Augustine and bring back the Christmas Spirit. From the Nights of Lights to all of the events around town this month. There is something for everyone to enjoy and in such a beautiful town. Here’s are a few happening now and throughout the month.

Regatta of Lights

Our first Regatta of Lights or fondly known as the “Boat Parade” in our home, was simply magical. Something our family enjoys year after year. Not growing up in the south or near water, I have personally fallen in love with celebrating the holiday season with palm trees and the marina. Many of the boats play music or have occupants on the boat wishing the crowd a Merry Christmas. Bring the family to the parade on Saturday and stick around to enjoy the Nights of Lights. It is a Christmas lovers paradise.

This years Regatta of Lights is the 38th annual parade sponsored by the St. Augustine Yacht Club scheduled to begin at 6 pm.
